Step 2: Erased all the History Data from the Browser

  • Launch the Command prompt by typing Command in the search box of the start button and clicking on it.
  • You will see a black box appear on the screen, and type Regedit in the blank field.
  • Select the key that is related to error 179.
  • Save the information of the key.
  • Create a file of it and give it a name.
  • Pick the .reg extension and save it.
  • Once the backup of the QuickBooks Registry is made, log into the Bank Website to check that the problem has been resolved.
