How to Install Sage 50 Canada Edition

  • If the user has a CD with the installation file of the Sage 50 Accounting application, then the user must insert it into the DVD/CD Drive in their workstation.
    • Alternatively, if the user has the Sage 50 software downloaded from Sage 50’s website, then the user is required to double-click on the installer file which will have the title ‘SA_202**CP1.exe’
  • If the user has an older version of Sage 50 already downloaded on their workstation, then the application will automatically update on the user’s workstation.

  • Then the user will be required to first navigate to the following location on their workstation: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download.
