Your Product Number Doesn’t Match

If you changed your license number, this can occur. Change your product code to fix this.

QuickBooks Error Entered Incorrect License/Product Numbers

  • Verify that the license number and product code are identical.
  • Check your purchase confirmation email for your license number and product code if you purchased QuickBooks Desktop from website. You can access your Customer Account Management Portal to get them if you can’t find them.
  • Look for the tag on the original CD packaging if you purchased QuickBooks from a retail store.

Solution 1: Run Quick Fix from the QuickBooks Tool Hub

Because of an issue with its background processes, QuickBooks might not activate. Run a Quick Fix to end any running background processes after downloading the QuickBooks Tools Hub. Your program will run a quick repair.

Step 1: Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub

The QuickBooks Tool Hub helps in fixing frequent mistakes. To use the tool hub, you must close QuickBooks. We advise using Tool Hub on Windows 10, 64-bit, for the best experience.

  • You have to close QuickBooks
  • Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub‘s latest version (1.6.0.3).
  • Save the file in a location where you can find it quickly, such as your Windows desktop or Downloads folder.
  • You have to select the Home tab. The version will be on the bottom.
  • Open the QuickBooksToolHub.exe file you downloaded.
  • You have to double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub when the installation finishes.
  • Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub after the installation is complete.

Step 2: Run Quick Fix from the Tool Hub

  • You have to select Program Problems in the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  • Then you have to select Quick Fix my Program.
  • You have to start QuickBooks Desktop when the tool finishes, then you have to open your data file and try to activate it.

Solution 2: Run the 3371 error fix from the QuickBooks Tool Hub

  • You have to close QuickBooks.
  • Then you have to select Installation Issues, in the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  • Now you have to select 3371 Error Fix and then you have to click OK.
  • After that, you have to start QuickBooks Desktop and then open your data file.

Solution 3: Run the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool from the Tool Hub

It could be challenging to activate QuickBooks if something goes wrong during installation. To fix common installation issues, use the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool.

  • Select Installation Issues from the QuickBooks Tool Hub once it is open.
  • The QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool should be chosen. Run the program. It can take as long as 20 minutes.
  • Open your data file and attempt to activate it after the tool has finished running, then restart your computer and launch QuickBooks Desktop.

Solution 4: Create a new Windows admin

  • You have to add a Windows user with admin rights.
  • After creating the new user, you have to sign out of Windows and then sign back in as the new user.

In case this error gets fixed, you can keep the new admin user, or you can remove it or you can use your existing user.

Solution 5: Install QuickBooks Desktop again

If the error persists, reinstall QuickBooks. Your company file or account data won’t be affected by this.

Solution 6: Reactivate MSXML

Only if you are an IT professional, a seasoned Windows user, or you are working with a Microsoft support specialist should you attempt this. Follow the steps for your computer’s version.

If you have a 64-bit computer:

  • Enter cmd into the Start menu.
  • Run as Administrator can be chosen by right-clicking cmd.
  • Enter cdwindowssyswow64 at the C: prompt, followed by Enter.
  • After typing regsvr32 MSXML4.dll, hit Enter.
  • After typing regsvr32 MSXML6.dll, hit Enter.

If your PC is 32-bit:

  • You have to open the Run window, then you have to press the Windows key + R on your keyboard.
  • Now you have to type cmd, then you have to press Enter.
  • After typing regsvr32 MSXML4.dll, hit Enter.
  • After typing regsvr32 MSXML6.dll, hit Enter.

QuickBooks Error Validation Code is Incorrect or This Service is Temporarily Unavailable on this time

Solution 1: Check your date and time settings

  • You have to close your QuickBooks Desktop
  • Then, on the Windows taskbar you have to right-click the time display, then you have to choose Adjust Date/Time.
  • You have to check your date and time settings that it is correct or not.
  • If it is correct then you can move on to the next solution. If not then move to steps 4 to 8.
  • You have to select the Date and Time tab, then you can set the date for the current year.
  • Now you have to select Apply and then click on OK.
  • You have to now open your QuickBooks Desktop, then you have to go to Help option.
  • Then you have to select Activate QuickBooks and then start Registration.
  • Now you have to enter the validation code and then you have to select Next.

Solution 2: Manage your QuickBooks license

Step 1: Find your license number in step one

  • Access the Customer Account Maintenance Portal (CAMPS) by logging in.
  • Find your product and license numbers.
  • Go to once you have your license and product number.

Step 2: Activate QuickBooks again

  • Select Change my license number under Manage My License under Help.
  • Next, you have to enter the license number entirely in 0S.
  • Don’t select Finish before entering a validation code.
  • Select Change my license number under Manage My License under Help.
  • Type in your license number, choose Next and finally click Finish.
  • Finally, your QuickBooks is now activated.

QuickBooks Blank Screen Error When Try to Activate

Your antivirus software might be in the way. Retry after disabling your antivirus program. Once you are finished, you can turn it back on.

QuickBooks Validation Code Screen Doesn’t Appear

Solution 1: Activate QuickBooks Manually

  • Press Ctrl + P while QuickBooks is open on your keyboard. This will open a window for manual activation.
  • Then you have to enter your validation code.

Solution 2: Manage your License

  • Select Change my license number under Manage My License under Help.
  • Then you have to enter the license number as all 0S.
  • Don’t select Finish after entering the validation code.
  • Select Change my license number under Manage My License under Help.
  • Type in the license number.
  • Enter the validation code when required, then click Finish.

Please try to register again as QuickBooks registration process did not complete.”
